Khum Hom Restaurant by Chef Ian Kittichai

Khum Hom, Michelin Guide Thailand 2026’s recommended restaurant, is a contemporary Thai eatery offering a culinary journey across Thailand four regions.

Overlooking lush gardens, Khum Hom uses fresh and local premium ingredients to elevate Thai cuisine with a modern twist to classical recipes from the four main regions of Thailand: North, Northeast, Central and South. The restaurant is overseen by Chef Ian Kittichai, the award-winning chef, restaurateur, author and television personality who is renowned for his approach to gastronomy.

The word ‘Khum’ is Thai for a ‘bite-sized portion’, while ‘Hom’ means ‘aromatic’, so diners can look forward to dishes that are both fragrant and full of flavour. By focusing on the finest regional produce, the restaurant’s highly-skilled team craft outstanding dining experiences that are dedicated to health and well-being, while also demonstrating a deep respect for Thailand’s rich culinary heritage.

CHEFS SIGNATURE RECOMMENDATION

SAENG WA GOONG MAE-NAM PLA FU

Khum Hom Restaurant’s signature dish Inspired by Southern Thailand’s “Yum Tai Pla,” . This dish features aromatic herbs such as ginger, lemongrass, shallots, and kaffir lime leaves. We elevate it with grilled Tapi-river prawns from Surat Thani and crispy freshwater seabass from Songkhla for a delicious contrast of textures.
